I haven’t done a normal post today, but it did occur to me that a quick outline of my research might be of interest to some. I tend to only blog about things that are peripheral to my actual PhD – like the Jewish families I discussed recently, or the series on other Black Country “slums“. It’s partly to protect myself I suppose, but also because it feels like a huge work in progress that I’d be a bit foolish to draw any conclusions from just yet. Which a PhD is, I suppose.
